Awakes suddenly, not sure if it is due to the chill from the now dying fire or a noise sounding much like a howl off in the distance. Looks around to see all the camp fast asleep, notes Cyrus asleep with the bottle of mead precariously balanced under one hand. Smiles, but mentally notes its need rescuing and very quietly mumbles 'thats no good way to be looked after...'

Very quietly pads around the camp, first disappears into the woods and returns with some more kindling for the fire, stops first by Cyrus upon his return, gently places Cyrus' arm on his side, re corks the mead and stands it upright. Pads quietly back to the fire and slowly starts adding the wood and poking the fire back into life...looks around the clearing and wonders why after such blood shed here it feels a safe place to rest without guard, a place of calm.

Stirs the fire some more, pats his now remarkably full wineskin, and gently whispers 'there there fella, ya feel better now, yes' smiles 'never did like taking ta first watch' looks around, pokes the fire, unconsciously pats the wineskin, settles down to watch over the clearing...

The first fingers of light creep across the glade revealing thick snow covering the ground.
A heavy mist lies in the air, thick enough to mask everything in places and thin and whispy in others.
Around the fire the ground is reasonably snow free, the heat of the fire having kept it at bay..
Upon the coverings of those sleeping lies a thin blanket of snow.....

An uneasiness settles on Chadda as the first fingers of light reveal the think heavy mist around the glade...

Althea stretches as she comes awake. She reaches behind her head and rubs a now throbbing lump on her head...*hmmm* she thinks glancing towards Bowmans sleeping form.

She looks around and sees the snow covered ground and the mist crawling through the air and sighs "hunting wont be easy this morning," she mutters to no-one in particular.

Testing her body for injuries she notes her stomach injury feels far better after a nights sleep. She sits up and tentavily uncovers her leg to inspect the damage...finding only a scar she looks puzzled and glances at the sleeping form of Cyrus..*Did he?....Why?* she thinks to herself.

She stands up, rolling her furs into a tight bundle quietly and pads around the fire, putting some more wood onto it and cussing at the now charred meat scraps that were left, collecting her weapons from close to Bowman lashing her bow to her back, sheathing her knives and swords and filling her quiver...

Realising that Chadda is actually awake she nods silently at him.

Thinking of the previous evenings events she glances quickly to the sleeping form of Yanna, who is she? What does she want?

Going to her belongings to picks up her leather armour, oh why hadnt she worn it last night? She knew the answer - she didnt want the additional weight during her hunt but after the last few hours thought that weight was better than the alternative...

Silently she straps her armour into place, ensuring the fastenings are tight and the armour sitting correct...it may just have saved her from her injuries last night....ensuring leg and arms are protected likewise she stands tall and stretches to her full height wakening cold muscles.

"You sleep for a bit Ill stand watch for a bit..." she whispers to Chadda and with that she decides the best way to wake her aching bones is to make a circut around the edge of the glade.

She strides of and staying within the boundaries of the glade she begins a circut checking for anything that may be lurking within the trees, mulling over in her mind the occurrances of the night before..*What did Bowman and Dilandau mean by training? Her weapon skills were good enough, they'd kept her alive till now...just! Who was this Yanna? What the hell was that thing that opened in the glade last night?*

She kept walking and thinking, her two short swords drawn and ready....from the fire she can sometimes be seen through the mist and sometimes it is to dense to reveal her, her presence only signalled by her footsteps in the thick snow.

Chadda acknowledges Althea with a grin and a slight tip of the head, and watches her walk out into the mist, though unable to see her, his gaze follows her progress partially around the glade by the crunch, crunch of the snow under her shoes....smiles and then lies back waterskin as a pillow and stares intently as the sky unable to find sleep...

Completing her first circut and finding nothing apart from the pile of corpses from the nights fight she decides to continue circling until the camp awakes.."then I'll go hunting" she mutters quietly to herself.."bellies will need filling..." A wry grin forms on her lips at the thought of a hunt...

Waking gently Cyrus takes in his surroundings and remembers that yes, yet again he is stuck in the middle of nowhere with a bunch of suspect mentalists and no idea where to go or whether he should even venture off alone. Shifting position he was reminded of his fight with the werewolf, was it the same one? if so why did it follow him and only attack when challenged? why didnt it come right out when either him or Althea were alone and unsuspecting? Then of corse he remembered that he had fallen asleep on watch and cursed himself - oh well, no-one had actually asked him to take a watch and no-one had heard him offer such a thing (he hoped) so he was therefore blameless, but wouldn`t raise the issue just incase anyways. Looking around he nodded a "good morning" to Chadda then set to rekindling the fire properly so that he would not freeze when he undressed to check and repair his armour, "hmmm" he thought, is that even a good idea with her around? yes the sooner he repaired and fed himself, the sooner he could be rid of them all, if he decieded that was for the best......

Althea heard movement around the fire area and looks over, through the mist she can just about make out a figure moving around, judging by the size and movement she guessed it may be Cyrus...

"Hmm now he's strange one he really is..." she mutters to herself..

She shifts her swords in her hand renewing the grip and strides to the fire.

Confirming it IS Cyrus awake she nods to him.

"If your ok to keep a watch I plan on going hunting - our numbers have grown and after last night food will be welcomed," said in her usual brusk manner, a cautious look in her eyes..

Bowman's hooded head moves, knife still in his hand.
He spots that Althea is awake and moving around, he sighs with relief.
Saying with a chuckle in his voice
"Oh do us a favour fill the kettle and stick it on the fire, I could do with a coffee! My head is a tad sore from that mead last night."
"I told you not to drink too much with that loss of blood. You collapsed and banged your head."
"So be a luv and get the coffee on hey"
