Here’s the big question and sorry to hassle you but do you guys have any ideas when the next event will be? Just so I can book hols and plan my LRP year.

Hi, we are working on the dates now - due to high demand which is great

We are currently thinking Feb/March time but no later than the end of Marc due to other LRPS we attend.

I will try and get dates up asap!

I better get making stuff then. I think mice may have been nesting in my old LRP kit in the garage, so I'll have to see what is left of it.

Tentative dates here but what is the general conscensous for the 15th through the 17th February?

This should, for most kids, be the half term week though I know that varies nationally...

March will likely be better simply due to pay and pay dates. January after Christmass is a long month for many and the monthly pay at the end of the month is eaten by 'catchingup' whereas the pay that comes towards the end of February could well pay for such an event. Most monthly paydates are between the 20th and 28th of the month which means early March would probably be a lot better for many. Well me at least!

March, I'd agree with. Xmas and new year take some financial getting over.

Is half term not likely to mean that the Scouts are wanting to use the campsite?
Admitedly having the Scouts around last time out wasn't too much of a pain, it did seem to limit our options somewhat.

Just an update to say we have not forgotten you!

We are hoping to announce the next event in the near future so do watch this space!!

Okay we are suggesting dates of possibly 14th/15th/16th March - not 100% definate yet but provisional dates - the next event will either be these dates or the weekend before.

The site we are probably going to be using is near Brentwood in Essex and promises to provide an excellent venue.

There will be indoor accomodation and it will be catered as before.

Everything will be confirmed and bookings launched asap.
