For those new to larp you may want to bring some bits to trade with other players - this does not mean of value!!

This can be many different things!

Small bottles of interesting looking bits - get an old bottle and stick some leaves in it!
Bits of ribbon, fabric, leather - doesnt have to be huge - each character will value things differently!
Candle stubs - u never know!
Fudge! Wink

Basically anything that can be classed as IC (in character) that you could offer someone in a trade Smile

I am sure other larpers will share their ideas here as well. Smile

I blooming well wont - if everyone turns up with the same things - My items values will hit rock bottom Rolleyes

seriously though - anything that looks sparky or even remotely intresting. Loose sequins, thread for repairing kit/clothes, some twine you plucked off the bushes and trimmed off and coiled, and my fave, walking sticks and or pretty pebbles Big Grin

Just a small thought... to stop peeps perhaps turning up and extracting the Michael about the amount of IC stuff they have to sell, just allow them to carry as much as will fit in one blanket or on one "tatty sack" (unless they have prior ref OK). Just a thought.
In practice there was little call for trading or currency. I did not see a single transaction take place though Yorath came out richer than when he went in!

I do not think this is an area where we need worry overmuch. The nature of these events is likely to have little or no reliance on currency or trading.
