Long Ear says to Fear Giver "I will protect and look after Why, She needs the rest more than I do and the last thing she wants is to be woken up by a minor threat. That is if it is ok with you Fear Giver?" Even so Long Ear puts himself leaning over Why so he can protect her no matter what. He then also starts to lick clean her wounds so it can stop them getting infected.
"You can watch Why, but I will watch the pack, and if Why sleeps for a long time, make sure you get some rest" She said keeping her voice low, now looking at her tattered coat, torn through werewolf scratches, and sword strikes. but turning her gaze back to the pack she listened for any posible danger, and that other werewolf.
Standing adn walking so she was out of sight of the pack to be able to answer the howls with no worrys of waking the pack. Sitting on a random fallen log still able to hear if the pack ends up needing help, sitting in a near-human form she answers and waits for replys.
Howls exchanged between Fear Giver and the other wolf.
A Howl returns to you, in the darkness, carryed in the breeze. "I care not for trouble any more, because oh my farthers warmongering, my pack was destroyed, me the only remaining one. I just want a new home, to start over, and one day maybe ..... To find a new mate. i Trust you enough to belive that you will not harm me, there for i will not harm you." The holw trails off as the breeze dies.
"It is no use asking your name as there are dark wolves whom walk here,
but we will not attack you unless you are either not the person you have told us you are, or you attack us. You search for a pack, and we shal decide if you are as loyal as you sound, if that is what you want."
When Long Ear finished cleaning Why's wounds she seemed to huddle against him like a frightened cub would to a parent when it is very young.Why was curled up in a ball as tight as she could as if she was having a very bad dream,she was whimpering and started growl at times as if she was being attacked.
after awhile she was muttering words only loud enough for Long Ear and Last Fire to hear, "no i can't fight you..... i won't. i told you before that i didn't belong in the pack,but........" Then Why went still,for a minute. She then said "Fear Giver you are like my sister how could you do this i look up to you......... " Then she give a quiet scream as if someone has just been killed.
Why acts as if she is enraged about something (still huddled aganist Long Ear through all of this.) " Fear Giver,Long Ear you can not die on me.................. please don't do this!................ Long Ear before you die you must know that i felt for you more than any of the others" she said the last sounding very sad.
Once hearing this Long Ear lied closer to Why and he started wispering to her "It will be ok don't worry, everything will be fine" over and over to try and calm her down.
After he has said this a few times he then looks to find Fear Giver for a second. He then carries on trying to calm Why down in her sleep.
"Why?" Last Fire muttered, standing and walking so he was the other side of Why, Laying down at her side he started to whisper to her "Why nothing is hapening, the pack is fine, and above all you are a part of this pack. And an improtant part" He licked her face trying to help Long Ear to calm her.
"No your all dead you can't be talking to me no..no..no...nnoooo!!!" Why now starting to kick out with her legs now as she was saying this.
"We should leave her be, she is having a bad dream and we should wait till she wakes up," Long Ear says to Last fire. Long Ear huddles up close to Why as he lets her sleep through the night.
"Hang on," Last Fire whispered to Long Ear, then returning to whispering to Why "Why if we were dead we wouldnt be able to talk to you, It's just a dream don't worry ok, we are all here and together." Only just noticing that they werent all here Last Fire looks back up to Long Ear, then around where they were resting "Long Ear where is Fear Giver? If Why wakes and finds she isn't here she may try running off again"
suddenly hearing all of what Last Fire said Why wakes up and looks at all three of the males around her.Then says in a voice that sounds very weak for Why's normal self and close to crying, "Ahh it's that same night mare again i can't put up with this any more." and then as she starts to shead wtears only a wolf can "And where is Fear Giver?" while saying this Why was lookinmg around,but huddling closer to to Long Ear but at the same time bringing Blackmane and Last Fire with her so she was surounded by the scent of the pack.
Having been watching the whole thing from a little distance blackmane comes in close and embraces why in his big arms. Bringing her close a purr slowly starting to rattle in his chest, trying to calm why down. This was how he used to calm down the kittens in his on tribe. He only hoped that it would work for why as well. She was in clear distress. Bringing whys head down so it was on his chest blackmane covered her head with his arms. Making sure she couldnt hear him blackmane looked at last fire.
"Last fire, will you please go and find fear giver. Make sure she is ok. I think why just needs to see her and know she is safe."
