Dragonlore Larp intend on hosting a cross system Winter Banquet this year.

This will be a cross system event - meaning you can bring any character from any system to the event - all characters will be capped to a certain level giving an even playing field for all attending.

The idea is for a social banquet for you to enjoy the pc you most enjoy playing - past or present pc's!

There will be a plot running but this is being geared to a social IC banquet. Fully catered (Dietry requirements will be accomodated for within reason and as long as we have notice beforehand)

Location will be Brentwood, Essex. Accomodation will be indoors.

Cost will be approximatly £15 maximum cost would be £20 per person. for a 24 hour event - running from approx 12noon Saturday till 12 noon Sunday.

The price will include an evening banquet on the Saturday and Breakfast on the Sunday as well as accomodation. Ale would be included with the evening meal for those adults wishing to partake.

We currently have two dates we are considering - 6th/7th December OR 20th/21st December (second date is also winter solstice!!)

Could people post their preferred dates over the next week so we can finalise this event please - we will go with the majority Smile
heya, count me in - either date, both are free atm. Though I think holding it on the winter solsitce would be pretty cool
Well, Saturday the 20th is a dndlarp 1-day...

Dndlarp charges £5 per person to play - one day at Thriftwood is (just) under that...

Been talking to some of the Dndlarp ppl, and if you chose that weekend (please!!) then -

Come to Dndlarp for the normal day event *at Thriftwood*, pay for the banquet and Dndlarp is free for you, if not coming to the banquet then just the normal £5 payment (ppl new to Dndlarp won't get to go free simply because of hiring the site)... Would also mean that ppl would have a choice of Larp systems to play (or even have a crossover RP session before the banquet, often planned, but not succeeded yet) ;-)
