A friend of mine who is planing to come wanted to know if dark elves are generally evil in nature like d&d or warhammer?

personally why he wants to prance about in the shadows is quite beyond meTongue
Dark elves - or indeed any race can be exactually what the player wants them to be - after all not all dark elves would be evil...would they? Wink

We want the system to enable players to play what they want aligned with good/bad or neither -its all upto the player Smile

Hey I have no problem with people wanting to prance about in the shadows Wink Makes plot work more *interesting* muhahahaha.

Buffy Smile
Aha, another drow player... mwahahaha. Smile
Theres no reason why drow have to be inherently evil, its pure and simple racial stereotyping. Playing against the stereotype gives for wider and more supprising roleplay oppertunities. For example, the late Dilandau was quite sociable, lustful and generally good natured for a dark elf.

Hope to see him at an event Smile

late - yep. coz he was evil.. evil i tell you - mwahahhahahhaa

is it coz i is drow?

there are drow in other systems who are very positive and balance the lloth worshipping 'evil'/'dark' sifde of drow - ellistrae [?] - who, like elves, worship nature and beauty - but in a more nocturnal manner - ie the moon, owls etc...

but i played a drow in one system who was a nice guy. screwed up, but nice.
[BIG TIP FOR ANY DROW PLAYER - put moisturiser on face and ears, especially ears, before applying face paint - so much easier to take it off and allows skin to breathe more - essential if fighting lots/running lots / hiding behind pregnant people lots... [glances at a certain roleplayer who shall remain nameless...]
does "pregnant people" mean both sexes can bear child?? *shudder*
Depends Tongue u can never know what plot will do to players hmmmmnow that's an idea giggle
NO!
