I was wondering what type and style of costume is encouraged at dragon lore IE is it dark age, medieval or renascence also do players need to aim for living history standards (no modern shoes, glasses, materials on display) these may seem a strange question but it will effect how my character is portrayed and equipped

Generally speaking its high fantasy at dragonlore, so you can go as flamboyant or as historically accurate as you wish, remember, this isnt earth and there are a wide range of peoples populating the plethora of isles. Also, genrally speaking, no modern shoes and glasses etc is ment to be displayed, but where this is unavoidable (such as no other option than to wear glasses or not owning boots for example) nobody minds.
As the man says above but please don't feel you have to go all out. As long as you are happy and it's not jeans and trainers then all is fine tbh. I mean I still shudder at the memories of the goblin !!!! Not to mention the jangle of a certain kender still makes me want to run away very fast
If you need any more help just yell

I think the rules change when goblins are around. Normally it's a case of "what looks good", but when there's goblins it changes to "what looks good and washes easily"...
Having modular kit is also useful, as some people have a habit of getting killed easily, and being able to come up with a different character is always nice than the family of 17 brothers ;-)
