This thread has been carried on from hell hath no fury part 2

Althea and Cyrus find themselves in a room deep underground.

The room has a large fireplace down one side. Over this fireplace is hanging a large cook pot that’s simmering away.

Pots, pans and ladles’ can be seen hanging from the ceiling.

A smashed table lies in the middle of the room, a dead cook lies face down on the floor.

There is a basket full of various vegetables in another corner.
Onions are hanging from the ceiling above it.

A water butt also stands in one corner.
Along side it is a barrel with a tap.

Plates, cups and various eating utensils litter the place, piled up where possible.

An unlocked door is on the wall opposite the doorway they entered from.

In one corner lies a golden necklace with a heart shaped pennant attached to it.

Unable to ignore the pendant, Cyrus` curiosity gets the better of him and he takes the pendant examining it as he leads the hounds through the door...

As her turns the pendant over in his hands Cyrus will see the symbol of a rabbits foot engraved into the heart shaped pendant. He feels no immediate effects of holding the pendant.

On the other side of the door stands a man bow drawn and aiming directly at Cyrus's head he is less the 5 feet from Cyrus.

"Dont move" he mutters at Cyrus.

*Althea stay out of sight, Archer in corridor*

"ok you have my attention" Cyrus remains motionless

Althea hearing a voice and Cyrus, stands still...unable to see through the door assumes she cannt be seen...

(plot is she visable to the man?)

The archer smiles, "You moved, you moved your lips"

He releases the arrow directly at Cyrus's head, then with a a look of total bewilderment the arrow inexplicably misses Cyrus. Flying past his left ear it bounces off a pan hanging from the ceiling, then amazingly bounces off another pan and then flies past Cyrus's right ear and pierces the man in the chest. A look of horror crosses the archer as he drops his bow and gasps "How bloody lucky are you!" and then bursts into a cloud of dust.

The bow clatters to the floor.

"p***k!" Cyrus says simply a little bemused he looks more closely at the pendant, musing *hmmm intresting* before securing it around his neck and tucking it away. He claims the mans bow and arrows and any other worthy items.....

Standing up from the crouched position she assumed when the arrows was pinging around Althea quickly moves towards the door.."What the ?....."

Through the door is a dark passageway, as the light fades away a slight incline can be seen.

The hounds are now in the passageway, sniffing at the dust on the floor.

The kitchen is lit by candles recessed into the walls.

Cyrus is stood standing in the doorway.

Althea is now standing behind Cyrus.
