Yanna and bowman come around in daylight. There is the sound of crashing waves, the smell of the sea and the sound of gulls. They are upright and hanging each between two rock pillars, chains going from their ankles and wrists to the pillars. Each are wearing just their loin cloth. About seven feet or so in front of them are their clothes, packs, weapons etc.
Abgout twelve feet or so in front of then a cliff drops down towards the sea. Behand them a cliff goes upwards.
Swooping into and out of sight over the cliff in front is a huge bird. It looks big enough to carry off a stone house.
From over that cliff they hearm "OOOOOOOWWWWWWWAAAAAA wes sorry mr Bigbird thing, we didn`t means it- we`s sooo sorreis stop the pains please.."
The roc spying the moving, wretching goblin dissapearing into the shadows dives towards the area the goblin was last seen....claws stretched ahead of it in an attempt to pluck whatever moved from the rockface...
Bowman initial reaction is to try and cover his face, finding his arms shackled he struggles hard against the bonds that hold him. Unable to break the bods Bowman slumps down. Then the realisation hits him, he is not burning. Confused and baffled he just hangs limply.
"PWEEEEEAAAAASE! mr bigbird sir or missus, dont eats us we didnt mean it, your baby was soooo juicy sweet we couldn`t helps us-selves" As he sees the bird swooping down he changes tack "wasn`t our faults honests, twas her" he points up at the nest and the other Goblin, which he can now no longer see "she threw de eggses and it fell in our mouth so it did ys it did!"
If the bird is still swoping to attack, Grimwrinkle will try to dive out of the way at the last minute, if it comes real close, he will try to throw dirt in its eyes and throw harmless sized rocks at it gigling maniacly "a rock for a roc teeeeheeeeaaahhhaghheeeehaaaa"
Yanna wakes screaming at first at the memory of the burning & the suffering of the pain she had inflicted on her victims, then realises that she is still alive. She struggles against the chains, & then sees Bowman hanging there too & says 'Bowman!!!! I thought you were dead! What happened? Who was that man?' & struggles against the chains some more looking up at the big bird that is swooping above them she adds 'that doesn't look too good!'
From the ledge above Grimwinkle and below Yanna and Bowman a female Goblin voice calls out, "Grimwinkle! Big birdie don' know wha' you say! We mus' kill birdie. Me callses birdie an you uses da bow when birdie here. Agree?" Then before he has time to answer, "Hey bigbird! Me here!" is shouted.
"Ummmmmm OI stupid, good plan but..... we has no arrowses and Bowies bow dont throw to well"
"Wha'!!! You carry bow an no arrers! You sof' in der 'ead? Jus' kill from dere an I'll keep birdie busy! Den when dead we gots huge chicken!" Then loudly, "C'mon birdie. Stupid birdie! Come'n I nice!"
Bowman just hangs limply from his chains.
The roc on hearing the noise the female goblin is making alters her aim flying directly towards the female goblin at a rapid speed...
